When my best friend had her first child, I was so delighted to help make something special for her and the baby. I knew that family across generations was hugely important to her, and I also knew she loved rainbows, and somehow I came up with the idea to show how each color of the rainbow for this new baby was introduced by a family member further back in time. This type of project was totally new territory for me at the time, and I don’t think I could have done it without the massive amount of love I have for the recipient.
