Last week I was incredibly fortunate to be invited to attend the AIGA Leadership Retreat, thanks to Julie Anixter and my friends at MAGA Design. I have partnered with MAGA on several projects, and they are big sponsors and supporters of AIGA at a local and national level. Julie, who is the newly appointed Executive Director of AIGA and a former MAGAteer asked that I attend the conference to help capture the content of the discussions and do some ethnographic research on what more AIGA can do for it's members. She has really big goals to make an already amazing organization even greater, and it is an honor to be a part of the conversation. Get Over Yourselves, Designers

A few months ago my friend RJ told me that I should check follow Jennifer Daniel on Twitter. Since then, I've enjoyed her work in the New York Times and Medium, and have developed a great appreciation for her clever and un-serious online presence. This week she tweeted her Creative Mornings SF talk for the series on Shock, and it was one of the most refreshing and thought provoking talks on design I have heard in a while.
